Sidebar Link Pinning Extension (Sidebar Manager)

Background & Limitations

• Locked Navigations: The CyberPanel left navigation sidebar is locked by default, containing only core system features.
• Slow Navigation: Administrators and users must click through multiple submenus to access frequently used tools (e.g., SSL Manager, White Label settings).
• No External Link Support: Third-party administrative tools (like phpMyAdmin, documentations, or customer support ticketing systems) cannot be pinned to the navigation, preventing a unified workspace.

Solution

The Sidebar Manager extension provides navigation menu customizability:

A. Custom Link Group Management

• Create new sidebar menu groups (e.g., "Quick Access", "System Tools", "External Links").
• Choose the ordering position of new groups (e.g., after "Dashboard" or "Hosting").

B. Quick Link Pinning

• Pin any internal CyberPanel route or external URL.
• One-click template pinning for all active White Label extensions.
• Choose from FontAwesome icons for each shortcut.

C. Visual Sorting & State Persistence

• Drag-and-drop submenus and groups to rearrange the layout.
• Saves configuration to /usr/local/CyberCP/whiteLabel_data/sidebar_pin_config.json, preserving layouts across system upgrades.
